Who is responsible

Controller under Art. 4 (7) GDPR: Bassem Allani, NextGLabs, Eutritzscher Str. 8, 04105 Leipzig, Germany. Contact: contact@chronovolt.app. We are not required to appoint a data protection officer.

What we collect

When you order: your email address, name, billing address, VAT ID if you give one, and the details of your order. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store them.

When you activate the app with a code: your email address, your activation code and an anonymous identifier for your device, so that one code unlocks one iPhone. The app checks your license with our server at most once a day.

When you withdraw from a contract with our form: your name, email address, order details and message, to process your withdrawal and send you a receipt.

When the app starts: its version number, so our server can tell it which features are available. Everything else in the app, including the App Clip and the screenshots you paste, stays on your devices.

When you visit the site: anonymous, aggregated statistics (pages viewed, referring site, country, device type) through Vercel Web Analytics. It uses no cookies and does not identify you. Our host also processes technical access data (IP address, time, requested page, browser) in server logs to deliver the site securely; these logs are deleted after a short time.

Why

To take and deliver your order, send your activation code and information about your order, check your license, keep our accounts, and understand which pages and links bring visitors.

Legal bases: performance of the contract (your order and license, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), legal obligation (invoicing and accounting, Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR), and our legitimate interest (secure operation of the site, anonymous statistics and preventing code sharing, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Cookies

We only set cookies the site needs to work: one remembers your language, another keeps the tutorial unlocked on your device. Neither tracks you. They are strictly necessary (§ 25 (2) TDDDG), so there is no consent banner.

How long we keep it

Order and accounting data: as long as German tax and commercial law requires (up to 10 years, § 147 AO, § 257 HGB). Activation data: as long as your license is active. Contact data: 3 years after your last purchase or message.

Who processes it

Only us and our service providers: Stripe (payments), Vercel (hosting and statistics), Upstash (activation database) and Resend (emails). Some are based in the United States; those transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. We never sell or rent your data.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can access, correct, delete or export your data, and object to or restrict its processing. Write to contact@chronovolt.app from the address concerned. You can also object at any time to processing based on our legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR). If you believe your rights are not respected, you can complain to a data protection authority, in particular the one where you live or our competent authority: Sächsische Datenschutz- und Transparenzbeauftragte, Devrientstraße 5, 01067 Dresden, Germany.
